The exhibition Warsaw Symbols. Graphic symbols designed between 1945 and 1989 for institutions, firms and organisations connected with Warsaw. illustrates the history of Poland’s capital city through the best and most original graphic symbols that were created for institutions, firms and organisations connected with the history of Warsaw.
Workshops are an activity accompanying the exhibition. Their results – logotypes designed by the participants-symbols of a particular space – will become part of the exhibition. They will be placed in the last two windows of the Art Walk passage (www.artwalk.sztukawmiescie.pl). They will be presented to the public until the end of November.
The workshops leader – Rene Wawrzkiewicz – is a graphic designer, researcher, curator and the exhibition’s curator.
The workshops are part of the “Art of the city. On a square, about a square” design workshop cycle, organized by us since June, 2016.
